Proverbs 3:6 “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success."

I have learned that if I will put God first my life is a whole lot easier.  The days that I get up early and deliberately spend time in God’s word and talking and listening to Him may be filled with challenges and mountains, but they are also, filled with amazing peace, contentment, and awe as those challenges are answered and the mountains climbed.  You may say to me, that would happen anyway, however, I have found the opposite to be true.  On the days when instead of getting up and meeting with my Creator God I roll over to catch a little bit more sleep, on those days, chaos seems to reign. ...

God has a plan for your life!  This is a plan for success and not failure.  Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 that “For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”  So many times in today’s world we are bombarded with all of the bad news and we focus on all the dangers and pitfalls that are potentially in our paths.  We think on them, we imagine them in our minds and low and behold we are not surprised when they start happening in our lives. 

What we are forgetting is that God is at work in our lives.  If we have asked Him to take over and be the Master of our lives we can trust that ...
